Commission News!!
Dunellen was awarded a $25,000
grant through the Community Stewardship Incentive Program "CSIP", Cool Cities
program for tree planting during the spring of 2007. This grant will allow 90 trees to be
planted along the following streets.
Front ST
Dunellen Ave
First St
Second St
Third St
High St
Walnut St
Lincoln Middle School, and
Faber Elementary School
Letters have gone out to the residents of each property needing a tree along these streets
as identified by the Dunellen Shade Tree Commission. The resident is asked to respond
whether they want a tree planted or not, so that we do not plant trees where they are not
welcomed. This will help as the resident will assist in its watering and care.
