A Tree and Me

A tree makes shade

Trees are plantable

Relaxing

Extra oxygen for animals

Enjoyable

Awesome leaf designs

Nests

Dark brown

More apples, oranges, and grapefruit

Extra helpful for playing hide-and-seek

A Tree and Me

I love my tree.

He is my special friend.

Together, my tree and I could make a better place.

We play like best friends.

I climb and hug my tree everyday.

I always swing on his trunk.

When I’m hungry he always gives me apples to eat.

My tree blocks the sun with his shadow,

And gives me oxygen.

I love my best friend.

I love my tree.

A Tree and Me

A Tree

Beautiful,

So strong and tall.

Trees can tell time,

Like a clock on the wall.

Autumn

Fireworks,

Own nature’s display.

So much fun,

To just go out and play.

Winter

Snowy,

So cold and white.

Trees in the light,

Are such a sight.

Spring

Opening,

To the world are trees.

Leaves are quivering,

In the morning breeze.

Summer

Shimmering,

In the blazing sun.

Sitting in the shade,

Is so much fun.

Trees are important,

To those in need.

They provide comfort,

Happiness, and please.

Trees can help us,

With daily needs.

Trees are beautiful,

With every breeze.

Trees….

A Tree and Me

Have you ever climbed a tree?

It’s an activity for three

Like jumping like a flea

Because it feels like being free.

And what about me?

I live in a tree!

Climbing all day long,

It’s better than singing a song

And it makes me strong,

Inside and out.

Which makes me not doubt

That I am a tree’s sprout.

So me and my tree

Are growing with glee

And making people see,

I am just like my tree

And my tree is like me.
